Hey there!
My name is Jamie Sebzda, and I am a queer nonbinary illustrator, designer, and tattoo artist living and working out of a suburb of Philadelphia. I currently work full-time as the design team manager at Joyin Inc, sell my work online and at tabling events, and machine tattoo out of my home studio. I also had the pleasure of teaching an advanced illustration course as adjunct faculty at Towson University in 2022. I work on a variety of personal projects ranging from visual development, children's book illustration, narrative work and illustrating my D&D characters. I graduated with honors from Towson University in 2017, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and a minor in German.
Reoccurring themes within my work include nature, fantasy, folklore, queer expression, trans identity, witchcraft, cozy settings, and general silliness. I enjoy working in pen and ink, Photoshop, watercolor, and gouache. In my spare time, I enjoy propagating my houseplants, baking, roller skating, picking up new hobbies, listening to podcasts, playing board games, building things, and avoiding doing dishes.
If you want to see more of my work including sketches, art challenges, updates, and the occasional cat video, check out my Instagram.
If you are interested in seeing my textile design or product design portfolios, please feel free to reach out, and I would be happy to share them with you. These are client or company-owned IP that I don’t choose to show publicly.
